Saturday muse

Am I feeling happy?
The answer therein can't be as positive as
Is the sky blue? Is the grass green? Does the world revolve around an axis?

Couldn't recall when was the last Saturday that I'd get to spend all to myself. It's a little luxury that comes once in a blue moon, and I truly cherish it. Only thing marred by the early morning lab session. Well, I'm not about to complain. I still think it's a gorgeous day. After some minor nitty gritty work in the early morn, it's comforting to come home to that cosy lil den where I just lazed the whole day away.

Spent the day net surfing, reading blogs of friends and strangers & checking out innumerous delectable recipes. Totally soaking myself up in jolly Christmas mood with the CD player belting out familiar ol' Christmas carols one after 'nuther.... My room does lend an air of wintery feel as it is uncannily chilly the whole day, to my unexpected delight. Gazing dreamily at the windows while cuddling snugly under my blankie, I half expected to see Jack Frost frosting away.. :)

A heavy lunch of Shin Ramyun lulled me to dreamland without a hitch in just...... moments. The noodles tasted utterly divine, the hot and spicy soup teased my palate and warmed up every nook in my body... aaahh, how toasty can one get...?

Still can't decide what's the next thing to do. I've got the options to either start on my e-book, pamper myself with a soothing mask, or get my hands dirty with my Christmas project. =)

Love... Hate

Darn. I hate food blogs.

Especially when I'm famished.

They make me ravenous.

Gotta check out FatBoy.

Too hungry.

Had to fry meself a wobbly egg to ease the slot.

Downloaded 2 e-books yesterday.

*runs around in circles with joy... bath towel trailing behind*

Black + Purple + Red =

3 sampat pohs with brollies

Purple asks... will people with rain-soaked heads get sick?
Red doesn't think so.. because Red is always wet after shower. Before bed.
Black says they will. When they're old.

Black asks.. why can't we open brollies indoor?
Purple says... she doesn't know.
Red says... rumour has it a ghost will follow you home.
Black says.. erm. We just opened our brollies.

Emo-ing

I have so much to pour into the blog, but I just don't feel secure writing in my own space anymore. I love blogging my thoughts and day-to-day happenings in life. I do not expect people to read them except friends who drop by from time to time. I certainly do not expect people to see in my light of what I write because you belong to your ownself and are entitled to have your own mind about how things should be. Somehow, I feel that my personal space has been intruded. A blog is rather personal even though it's opened for view by just about anybody. I welcome readers, unfortunately not people with malicious intent. Comments are welcomed, but let it be one of constructive purpose.

I'm being pulled into the disillusionment of life lately. Tired of being nice and energetic all the time and giving my best. Was just pondering whether I should go back to being moody and emotional but bah.... those were yesterday's baggage that I'd made up my mind not to get embroiled in again as long as I'm able to. Emo-ing... mostly because I'm not really pleased with Gauisus. Put it shortly: Company enjoyed, but I wish for some selflessness. I know I'm not supposed to expect anything in return for the effort that I'd put in to get to the stage today. Nonetheless as human, I crave for some selfless acts from you sometimes. Nuff said.

Darn the emo-ness. Must. control. my. mood.

Lovely day...

...............

but I can't go out and play.

*sigh*

to think the day's so bright and sunny..

and the wind's absolutely gorgeous!

Wish I was out there in nature somewhere instead of the lab.

What a waste....

*frustrated*

Bush fire

Bush fire next to Seremban highway, emitting gray smoke.
Pic caught around 4++ going on 5pm today.

Otai rocks!

After getting my ticket to head back to BP last Friday, I had half an hour to spare before boarding the bus. My lazy arse badly wanted to plonk down on a bench but it so happened that none are available. Thus, I ambled around pretty aimlessly.

I suddenly remembered that there was a burger stall tucked snugly at a deep corner of the station. I wasn't hungry, not even peckish.. but I just had a strong urge to check it out, as if some force was calling out to me.

As I encroached nearer & nearer, I GASPED in utter disbelief...

It can't be! The burger that I'd been searching high and low for was just right under my nose all these while!

It was sheer ecstasy for me to stumble upon the Otai burger that I'd heard so much of! It was rumoured to taste better than Ramly's.

Lookie... they have em own uniforms..
(Guys in uniforms are cute.. ahaha~
noo.. i have no uniform fetish!)

Unable to contain my excitement, I ordered a normal chicken burger even though I was still feeling stuffed from the dinner I grabbed in a rush before speeding to the station.

Otai ketchup & chili sauce... how cool can they get?

Piping hot Otai burger in my quivering hands....

Looks can be deceiving!

Verdict:

Lightly toasted soft bun with just a hint of buttery fragrance, none too overwhelming and off-puting! A generous patty with sizeable thickness still oozing juice as I chomped down the chow (gotta give the boy cedit for his grilling skills)! Love the barbecue-ish aroma that permeates my olfactory sense as I take each bite.. Generous servings of shredded cabbage and juicy tomato slices accompanied by tangy mayo!

Thumbs & toes up for Otai! Sorry Ramly.. I'm an Otai convert now! Do give it a test if you're nearby the Pudu bus station or Plaza Rakyat as it is known. Who knows you might join the legion of Otai aficionados too! hehehe! Cheers!

P/S: These 2 abangs are rather pleasant & friendly. Add another star to that!
