I just want to talk to you.
I'm dreading the days as they painfully lull by.
I abhor the way it felt like the haunting past.
Where things just evaporated
no signs...no signals... no alarms...

Longings
The heart glowed, a second... a minute.
A kindred soul, sharing his musical score.
Each note, lovingly put down...
with the similar longing most mere mortals felt
in the tip of their bones, their flesh,
their minds and their hearts
for perhaps, more than once in their lifetime.
We hum to the same sonata,
with notes softly floating out
from the different instruments we hold.
Be it a harp, a flute, a piano, or a viola,
we hit the same notes.. and feel the same longings.
For The One.

If pictures talk...
Can pictures tell a story?
If this is a story, what it would it be?
Close your eyes...
and hear their whispers.
Whispers that weave,
a brocade of emotions.
Emotions welled,
from a sorrowful score.
A score penned,
by that lovelorn musician.

i miss you

Back, Again!
Hola people, the spunky witch is back from JB again. Being there twice in a span of 2 weeks is certainly enjoyable, particularly with the crowd that I mingled around with. This time round, I was there for an event at Jom Heboh.
Before you start thinking what a leisurely time I'm spending, do let me gently break it to you that I'm working my @$$ off to get some extra income. Anyway, Jom Heboh JB was certainly not as tiring as Jom Heboh Bukit Jalil. And what mighty fun we had at JB too. Am waiting for the pictures to come round before I make a wholesome post out of it. =)
Here're some pictures from the previous Jom Heboh held at Bukit Jalil on the 31st of May & 1st of June 2008.

Stinky Tauhu
Most who of you have heard of this dish, which is pretty much an acquired taste, would know to get it from Taman Connaught's night market. Being an advocate of this pungent snack, I'd manage to satisfy my non-Wednesday cravings by frequenting this stall in Desa Setapak.

This uncle starts his "Chow Tau Foo" operations from 10.10 pm till the wee hours of 12.30 am or 1 am depending on how brisk business runs. The beancurd is sold in varying portions at RM 3, RM 4 & RM 5.

Delicious beancurd frying away in the sizzling oil. How I relish the smell from afar! Admittedly, this uncle's beancurd ain't as pungent as those from Taman Connaught. But still, it packs a punch for any smelly, stinky and pungent beancurd convert out there!

Silky beancurds fermenting away in their smelly bath tub...
Go on, I love you when you stink-a-link~~~

If you happen to be mamaking away at BRJ or MRJ in Wangsa Maju, just cross the road and walk for about 80 meters towards the LRT Station and you will see the uncle parking his taufu cart at the kerb, right beside the bus-stop.
