Out of support for this cause,
I've withdrawn today's blog post and will update again tomorrow.
Please do your bit for the people of Burma.
Living under the repressive regime of the junta,
their lives are thrown into a standstill.
Even the revered monks have taken to protests
on the cobbled pathway,
knowingly putting their lives on peril
and yet
braving on to uphold long-deserved justice for the people of Burma.
Ponder long and hard,
do they deserve the denial of the same privileges
as enjoyed by Malaysia and other countries?
Should we allow the junta to further stretch their iron grip,
& mire the people of Burma to the dark ages?
Let us pray and hope that the
Saffron Uprising
will succeed in light of
the junta's brutal retaliation to this justice march.
