More sepets as promised~
Wow... I attended the FINAL class of my uni life today. From today onwards, I won't be stepping into any classrooms or lecture halls anymore (that is until the last VIVA anyways). No more hogging the back benches, no more squinting to see the white board, no more furious scribbling of notes, no more cat-naps, no more paying attention (or not!) to what is being taught, no more playing truant, no more hushed whispers with friends and the jokes we so often crack at the back of classes... The feeling's simply indescribeable. A dull ache hangs somewhere, taking place of something else that has resided long there but now null and void.
So many "Do you remember?" moments are whizzing through my mind now. Do you remember the time when we'd open fire at Swishy Hair, sighed in desperation at Babariah & good friend Fuziah, kepala pusing with Prof Kwan's notes, sat tentatively for Miss Tan's Food Engineering paper, groaned in agony at our Marketing/ Physics/ IT marks, admire appreciatively at Miss Patricia's beautifully carved face, struggling to understand Dr IvanHoe's jokes, do imitations of Dr Chan's languorous drawl, bummed around with the lab techs, snuck a cosy chat with Dr Lee after lab sessions, crowd around Mr Raju who enjoys our company, detect hickeys on newly married lab tech Sheila, ogle at Mr Patrick's voluptuous behind...the list is simply endless..and that was without touching on our horrendous lab antics.
Those were only the tip of the iceberg, a tiny part from almost 3 years of fond memories stored in a deep crag beneath the depths of the heart, something even Father Time would not be able to erase.. I pray that these precious memories will not fade away from my mind, even after years I'd have left uni life.
On hind note, we sepets scuttled off before anyone could catch us for the class photo this morning. Tsk tsk tsk.. talk about camaraderie. No semangat together-gether at all. Haha! Sorry... scooting's our specialty, after almost 3 years of solid training in uni, escaping from scarily boring lecturers. Well, this is not the end of us yet anyway. We still have a few more months of thesis work to be buried in.
Really looking forward to those days when the sepets are up hand-in-hand in action again! For now, we'll just content ourselves with our grand surprise plan on tuesday and the zoo trip on wednesday. Of course, how can I forget our unscheduled food trip? *winkx* Oi kimmy, I just remembered... aren't we supposed to have a BBQ dinner at your place some day????
