Lately

Lately, I've nothing much to say,
it's hard to keep up with the pace.

Will I still be me?
Is that how things should be?

Peering at the yonder,
I could only sigh and wonder.

Hither and thither,
I prayed for an answer.

Wishing time will fly,
and keep my tears dry.
