We did our 2nd trial of producing chicken nuggets today. This time, we opted not to pre-bake it and instead decided to let it chill for 2 hours. Alas, the meat did not set. Hence we made a decision to leave it in the freezer till class ends tomorrow.
Got the chicken from Tesco today because Giant is outta chicken breast meat. Lo and behold, Tesco is offering 1 kilogram at 11 bucks wey... freaking 4 bucks cheaper than blardy Giant. Rugi betul yesterday... Compare both, Tesco is way cheep cheep.... so buh bye Giant~
Today, we added 2 teaspoonfuls of salt to the minced meat. It turned out a tad too salty. Kesian my darling guinea pigs all. Ooch... Shall reduce the salt next time round! Added 1 teaspoon of rosemary powder too with 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper. Overall, the seasonings did a great job masking the chicken-ish smell. Pheeww... I've never dislike the poultry stank so much before. Lolx!
KS reckon she'll stay away from chicken for the time being. She self proclaims to be a pork lover. Hidup Bak Kut Teh~ Heh..
